But to keep your favorite backpack charming for as long as possible, you need to follow simple care rules.
How to care for Kite backpacks and bags
The simplest way to solve a problem is to avoid it. With careful and gentle handling of your backpack, it will remain like new for a long time, delighting you with its impeccable appearance and excellent functionality. Adhering to these basic recommendations will allow your favorite backpack to maintain its excellent condition for a long time.

Daily care and proper use
- Neat and careful use and avoidance of harmful influences. Avoid cuts, scratches, aggressive substances, dirt, and damage.
- Do not overload your backpack. Kite backpacks are very strong and reliable. However, you should not put too heavy and bulky items in them that the backpack is not designed to carry. On average, the weight of the backpack's contents should not exceed 7 kg, and shoe bags – 2 kg.
- Do not put sharp objects without a case in the backpack. This applies even to ordinary ballpoint pens and sharpened pencils. Make sure the pens have caps. Even better – put writing instruments in a pencil case or a special internal organizer.
- Do not place inappropriately sized items inside pockets and compartments to prevent deformation.
- Wear your backpack on both straps, and hold your shopper by both handles. This will help distribute the weight of the backpack's contents evenly, which is important both for maintaining good posture and for preserving the backpack itself.
- Avoid sudden movements. Do not lift the backpack with jerks or throw it on the ground.
- Distribute items evenly. Place the heaviest items: books, laptops, notebooks, closer to the back. Do not place heavy items only on one side.
- Carefully zip and unzip, checking that no foreign objects, plastic, or fabric get into the slider.
- Do not try to zip up an overloaded backpack to avoid damaging the teeth and slider.
- Do not put items or substances into the backpack that could stain the lining or have a strong odor.

Cleaning and drying
- Allowed cleaning conditions and agents are indicated on the label.
- Remove local fabric stains with a damp wipe, non-abrasive sponge, or delicate cloth, pre-moistened with soapy water.
- To avoid streaks and stains during cleaning, gently wipe the front surface in circular motions, starting from the center of the stain outwards.
- Do not wash framed and semi-framed backpacks in a washing machine. It is more appropriate to use a damp sponge and remove dirt from the fabric surface.
- For stubborn stains, use special foam-type cleaning agents. Do not bleach under any circumstances.
- Products decorated with sequins, rhinestones, embroidery, or patches cannot be machine washed.
- Products made of nylon, polyester, polyamide, polyurethane, and vinyl (which do not have reinforced panels and decor) are recommended to be hand-washed in soapy water at a temperature not exceeding 30°.
- Backpacks and bags cannot be ironed. If necessary, you can use a steamer.
- Do not wring out or hang a wet backpack to avoid deforming the fabric. It is more appropriate to place the backpack on a rack and be sure to place a container underneath for water drainage.

Storage and transportation
- Avoid long-term storage of accessories in direct sunlight, so that colors remain bright and saturated.
- Transport backpacks in their original packaging or in a textile cover. Place polyethylene pads inside so that the backpack does not get crumpled during transportation.
- Store backpacks and accessories in a dry, ventilated, dark room without foreign odors.
Careful handling and basic tidiness will allow you to enjoy the beauty and functionality of your favorite backpacks for a long time.
