Virtual life is so interesting! It seems that if allowed, a child would "hang out" on a smartphone or tablet all day long. Completely prohibiting it is not an option. Develop your own rules and strictly adhere to them as a whole family. For example:
- Half an hour before bedtime, everyone, including adults, puts away phones and tablets.

- Gadgets have no place at the dinner table. This is a time for mindful eating and communication.

Don't give a tablet to an upset or overexcited child to calm them down. Let them learn to control their emotions independently.
