By pressing the button, you cycle through the modes. The LED element is powered by a built-in battery and charged via USB (USB is included). To charge the backpack, you need to remove the control panel from the internal pocket of the backpack. From the front pocket, take out the USB cable and connect it to the control panel on one side and your chosen power source on the other. The battery is designed for approximately 7 hours of continuous operation until the next recharge, with a full charge taking up to 2 hours.
