It all started with toys by the American company Hasbro, which were developed on the basis of the Microman toy by the Japanese company Takara. The Transformers appeared in 1984, when Hasbro bought the rights to produce toys based on their drawings from Takara. Later, the Transformers became the main characters in popular comics, cartoons, and movies. Fascinating stories captivate from the first minute and are interesting not only for children but also for adults.
Transformers World: TV series and movies
Transformers are not just warriors, they are robots that can change their appearance beyond recognition. They can transform into cars, airplanes, equipment such as cameras or players, and even animals. Transformers are divided into Autobots (positive heroes) and Decepticons (their opponents and enemies).
The first animated series "Transformers: Animated" was released in 1984. Each of the episodes told a separate story, with one of the Transformers as the main character. The full-length animated film Transformers was released in cinemas in the summer 1986. It did not become successful in release, but gained popularity among fans of the series thanks to the high-quality work of animators, famous actors and a declared serious plot. The movie was set in the future (for that time) back in 2005. "Transformers: Prime" is an animated series about the Transformers, made using computer graphics. It was officially released on November 29, 2010.
In 2007, full-length movie Transformers won several awards for visual effects and was nominated for an Academy Award. The movie became so popular that in 2009 a sequel was released - "Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen", in 2011 - "Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon", in 2014 - "Transformers 4. Age of Extinction", and in 2017 - "Transformers 5: The Last Knight".
Sequels have shown that Transformers are becoming more and more popular every year. The Transformers story is gaining speed, and the next movie is coming out in 2018! We are waiting for new amazing adventures and unexpected turns in the story.
